Teach For America exists to address the problem of the opportunity gap; our mission is to build the movement to eliminate educational inequity by enlisting our nation's most promising future leaders in the effort. In the immediate term, we serve as a critical source of talented and committed teachers, called corps members, who compensate for the additional challenges their students face to provide them with the educational opportunities they deserve.

Teach For All

Teach For All aspires to the vision that one day, all children will have the opportunity to attain an excellent education. Because there's no silver bullet solution to educational inequity, we are a growing network of more than 30 organizations around the world that seek to shape a generation of leaders who will work inside and outside of education to ensure that all children can fulfill their true potential. Each national program recruits and develops outstanding recent graduates and professionals to commit two years to teach in their countries' underserved schools and to work throughout their lives to increase opportunity for youth. Teach For All provides extensive direct support to network organizations by creating a platform for partner organizations to learn from one another, share solutions, and achieve impact and scale more effectively than would have been possible on their own.
