Chevra USA - Humanitarian Aid to Ukraine and eastern Europe Fund

Chevra is a Hebrew word for friendship. Since 2001, Chevra has officially operated as a 501(c)3 in the US for the purpose of raising funds to provide humanitarian relief, food security, and immigration support to the neediest Jewish people in eastern Europe. Since the beginning of the invasion of Ukraine, the number of displaced Ukrainians has skyrocketed from 125,000 (as a result of Russia's occupation of Crimea and Donbass region) to more than 3 million.
