Completion of Training kitchen/restaurant for young people In Uganda Fund

Uganda Lodge Community Projects promotes better educational, health, social and life outcomes for the children and wider community of Ruhanga & other rural areas in southwest Uganda. Their work to date includes the building of a school for the village children, a gravity well to provide a reliable water source for the community, and a health clinic to promote better health outcomes. They are currently developing a vocational training centre amongst other initiatives, to support the local communities with employment opportunities and becoming self-sufficient. Their focus for the current year is the completion of training kitchen/restaurant for young people who cannot afford senior school worth $20,000. These new facilities will enable young people to learn catering and hospitality skills and create employment opportunities for the local communities.
