About
Residents of East Palestine, OH and surrounding areas are experiencing the impacts of the Norfolk Southern railroad derailment that took place on February 3, 2023. Residents were encouraged to evacuate, and air and water quality in the area is at risk. While residents have been permitted to return home, many are facing financial challenges as a result of this disaster. The following organizations are distributing food, clothing, and other crucial supplies to those impacted. Please note that the organizations included in this Fund are subject to change as we learn more about needs on the ground.

The Way Station is distributing water, food, clothing, cleaning supplies and personal care items to those impacted by the railroad derailment crisis.
Greenford Christian Church
Greenford Christian Church's Big Reach Center of Hope initiative is working with partner agencies to provide aid those affected, and is also distributing clothing and food to affected East Palestine residents.
Brightside Project Inc
The Brightside Project is collecting donations to distribute clothing and personal care items those impacted by the railroad derailment crisis.
