Our neighbor and dear friend, Tommy Oliver, lost his battle with Hepatosplenic T-cell Lymphoma, a rare aggressive and highly mortal disease resulting from a life-long battle with Crohn's Disease treatments. Tommy was 21 years old.
Honoring Tommy's wishes, his family, headed by his dad, Jack Oliver, formed the Tommy Kid Foundation. The foundation is dedicated to finding better treatments and cures to these diseases.
Our mission is to advocate for patients misdiagnosed, incorrect treatments and to help the patient navigate through the medical system. In hopes to save lives such as my neighbor Tommy. I am on the board of the foundation and very passionate about this cause.
