Inspired by the WHO's World Immunization Week, we've selected a group of high impact organizations creating and delivering the world's most needed vaccines. Why World Immunization Week? Immunization is one of the most cost-effective and successful health investments we can make. Every year vaccines save between 2 and 3 million people from such deadly diseases as diphtheria, polio, tetanus, rotavirus diarrhoea, and pneumonia. Yet 1 in 5 children (approx. 1.5 BILLION) still do not have access to life-saving immunizations.
