Glaucoma Awareness Month, which occurs annually during the month of January, aims to raise awareness surrounding the impacts of glaucoma which affects more than 3 million people across the United States. Glaucoma often develops with no early symptoms, and many do not know they have glaucoma until their vision is significantly impacted.
