In the aftermath of the Nepal earthquake, our community at Box has the opportunity to come together to support Box.org nonprofit partners involved in the disaster recovery efforts in Nepal.

In response to the earthquakes in Ecuador and Japan, our community at Box is able to come together to support Box.org nonprofit partners involved in disaster recovery efforts.

In response to Fuego Volcano, which erupted on June 3, 2018, Bright Funds has established the Guatemala Volcano Disaster Response and Recovery Fund. This Fund is comprised of pre-vetted nonprofits providing disaster response in the region. Our Fund approach is informed by expert and local recommendations from the Center for Disaster Philanthropy. We have initially selected organizations that are on the ground assisting with immediate relief needs, including rescue efforts and medical assistance. The composition of nonprofits in this fund is subject to change as we learn more about the needs on the ground.

Cisco Crisis Response partners deliver the essentials: food, water, shelter, and disaster relief to save lives and restore communities. The Cisco Foundation works closely with the non-profits in this Fund to help the most vulnerable in our global communities. Note on Tax Deductibility: This fund may include organizations based in the US, and in other countries. US employees who make a credit card donation will receive a receipt for tax deductibility for the portion of the donation contributed to US organizations. Employees outside the US will not be able to receive a receipt for tax deductibility for credit card donations to organizations in this fund.
