Serving as the home of 4400 people with a median household income of less than $27,000, Austin, IN continues to struggle to bounce back from an HIV epidemic dating back to 2015 and years of generational poverty. As a VMware employee, I have poured my heart and funds into this community to continue to grow it for my children and the people around me. I have served this community as a Police Officer, Firefighter, and Council Member and continue to drive the growth of the City that gave me everything I needed to be where I am today. These funds will go directly to the struggling school system and the programs that benefit the children of my community.
