Keeping Our Local Community Food Secure COVID-19 is rapidly changing the world around us. 2020 Disaster Relief - Coronavirus Outbreak in Korea Recently, number of confirmed COVID-19 (coronavirus) cases rapidly increasing in Korea, the government has raised its anti-virus alert level to “Red,” the highest level, and the US Center of Disease Control also heightened its travel risk rating for South Korea from Level 2 (Practice Enhanced Precautions) to Level 3 (Avoid Nonessential Travel). The donation will be made for local people, including children with weak immunity, laborers, low-income families, and medical staff who need quarantine.

This fund is focused on helping Chinese charities working directly in the affected region to help care workers at the front lines of the Coronavirus Outbreak in the Wuhan area. Few NGOs have direct presence in China, so we have curated a list of those that we can support that will get aid most efficiently and effectively into the affected areas. Puerto Rico has been hit with devastating earthquakes leaving homes destroyed and over 59,000 customers without power. The island has continued to see aftershocks from the earthquake leaving even more damage in its wake. Raised By Us Fund for Australian Bush Fires Rescue, Relief & Recovery

We support SBP USA because they're helping 1300 homeowners in Puerto Rico rebuild after recent earth 6.4 M earthquake and countless aftershocks.

Australia needs our help. This fund includes a range of responsible charities - from first responders support, evacuation centers and recovery hubs, to helping affected animals.

The fires devastating Australia are heartbreaking. This fund includes charities that are fighting the fires, helping animals affected by the fires, and acting as first responders.

The brush fires continue to spread wildly in Australia. At least 24 people have so far been killed - including three volunteer firefighters - and more than 6.3 million hectares (63,000 sq km or 15.6 million acres) of bush, forest and parks have been burned. An estimated half billion animals have died, including an estimated third of the Koala population. And homes have been lost, leaving people without shelter or belongings.

Since 2018 when hurricane Florence devastated the coast of North Carolina, Cisco has been partnering with Habitat for Humanity Cape Fear to assist with a program that provides reconstruction of homes devastated by storms and natural disaster. For years, Cisco RTP employees have helped fill a gap for Habitat Cape Fear. As its core business supports construction of new homes that consumes the majority of its local volunteer base, Cisco's Time2Give program allows for a full day to volunteer with rebuilds when local volunteers aren't available. There is only spill over budget from their core business to support the resources necessary for rebuild. That is why this fund is set up specifically to address Habitat Cape Fear's rebuild program. Any dollar donated and matched by Cisco helps in rebuilding someone's home in NC that has been devastated by a natural disaster.

Both the Kincade fire in Sonoma County, Northern California, and the Tick fire in Los Angeles County, Southern California, have caused several evacuations impacting hundreds of thousands of people within the community. Bright Funds has established The 2019 California Fire Response and Recovery Fund to support the communities impacted by these fires. This Fund is comprised of pre-vetted nonprofits providing emergency response in the region. Through a single donation to the Fund, you can support multiple organizations' initiatives to provide short-term and long-term response and recovery. We have initially selected organizations that are providing immediate relief needs, including rescue efforts and medical assistance. The composition of the nonprofits in this Fund are subject to change as we learn more about the needs on the ground.
